Obed Mambwe has over 12 years of experience in sign language interpreting, 8 years in training interpreters, and 5 years in Comprehensive Sexual Education and Information (CSE & I) for both hearing and deaf persons. He is the founder and president of the Federation of Sign Language Interpreters and Translators of Zambia (FLSITZ).

Angela Njobvu, Deaf, has 10 years of experience in deaf rights activism. Currently, she is the co-founder and Vice President of the Federation of Sign Language Interpreters and Translators of Zambia (FSLITZ). Rachel Chomba, deaf, has 9 years of experience as a special education teacher for deaf learners, and 8 years experience as a disability rights advocate. Rachel is currently employed as a Special Education teacher and under the Ministry of General Education. She is sitting on the boards of Zambia National Association of Women with Disabilities (ZNADWO),
